Fun Friday - Super Sunday - Week 4 - Dinosaurs

This Sunday morning I woke-up and I got ready for a chess class. I learned the puzzles with the teacher and the teacher didn't help me because I knew the moves. After that I started reading my favorite soccer player Lionel Messi's book. I find Messi's story inspiring so I'm curious to know more about him. I finished till chapter 2. I will share his story in my next blog when I complete the book.

This week I completed the "Everything you know about Dinosaurs is Wrong!" written by Dr. Nick Crumpton. This book tells about that all Dinosaurs didn't extinct at the same time.  I will tell you about different time periods:

1. Paleozoic era which is 541-252 million years ago.

2. Triassic period which is 252-200 million years ago.

3. Jurassic period which is 200-145 million years ago.

4. Cretaceous period which is 145-66 million years ago.

5. Cenozoic era which is 66 million years ago to the present day.

* Mesozoic era which is 252 to 66 million years ago, this constitutes Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous period. Most of the Dinosaurs existed in this era.  Mass extinction happened at the end of Cretaceous period.

In Triassic period the early Dinosaurs that lived were Nysasaurus, Eodromaeus, and Gnathovorax. In Jurassic period the Dinosaurs that lived were Dilophosaurus and Brachiosaurs. In Cretaceous period the Dinosaurs that lived were Tyrannosaurus and Stegosaurus. There is long list of dinosaurs, I just gave  few name from each time period. It is believed that a asteroid hit the earth which caused thick cloud and all plants to die and subsequently plant eating animals and meat eating animals, all died. And it resulted in extinction of dinosaurs.

In Math's, I'm learning Geometry, Science I'm learning Relative Density, Social Studies I'm learning Geography and in English learning Grammar.

I took role of Speech Evaluator in Toastmaster class. I missed my soccer game on Saturday because it was at the same time as Toastmaster class.

Overall it was fun filled week.
