Fun Friday- Week 1 Learnings


Hello friends, today is Friday August 22, 2025 which is the end of the 1st week of the school.

In this week in Band we learned the patterns with our heart beat for example 1 2 3 (4) and we learned whole rest which is like (1) (2) (3) (4). In ELAR we learned grammar which is noun, pronoun, verb, adverb, adjective and preposition. In Science we learned our lab safety notes and we will have a quiz on next Tuesday. We have to learn the Periodic table and I need to memorize it. In Social Studies we had a pretest today and it was not for a grade. I did good in the pretest. In Pre-Athletics we played knockout Basketball. I enjoyed this game. Next I learned little bit of Sign Language and Spanish. Deaf and the people who don't talk use Sign Language to communicate. I learned Sign Language alphabets. My Math's teacher is sick so we did not learn anything in Math's in this week. We learned the art room expectations. We are gonna start a project called the Chinese Art.

  Over all it was an awesome week in the


school. On Saturday I have Toastmaster class and also I'll attend the Sunderkand Path.

Last Day of Summer Vacation 2025

Today is 18 August 2025 which turns out to be the last day of my 5th grade  summer vacation . My summer was fun filled fantastic time. I learned new 2000+ words and did some Maths practice. On 4th July weekend, I went to Neem Karoli Baba temple in Toas, NM with some of my Bideshiya friends. On the way to temple we went to  https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/palo-duro-canyon. Its very scenic place. We did Hare Ram Hare Krishna chanting. In temple we did Sundarkand Path.  I got enrolled in Forms Academy Soccer club where I'm practicing two hours 6:30 -8:30 PM. In this summer, practicing so long is tiring but I'm not giving up. I'm doing my practice very sincerely.  I also enjoyed lot of swimming with my friends. I love making Lego. I built big Simba, small Simba and Mario Cart. All these are of 18+ age group with close to 2000 pieces but I built them successfully.  Overall it was fun filled vacation. First Day of My School in 6th Grade

        Hello everyone, today was my first day of School in 6th Grade. It was a different experience in 6th grade compared to Elementary School. In Elementary School we were not changing the classroom for every subject but in 6th grade onwards, we have to change from one classroom to other in 4 minutes. Time management is key to all of us.      Today I woke up at 6:30 am and got ready by 7:15 am. I ate my breakfast and started to School by 7:45 am with my Dad. I reached by 8:05 am. I went to Gym A to collect my class schedule. My 1st period is Band and I went to Band room. I put my band supplies in my assigned locker. My Band director explained us the rules and set the expectations from us. I'll be playing the Bassoon.      After Band Class, I went to ELAR, Science, Social Studies, Pre Athletics, Spanish, Math's and Art class. I enjoyed all the day 1 classes. Fun Friday Week 2 & 3 Learnings

 There was Ganesh Puja in our community. Everyday in evening I attended Arti and we took Parasadam. Yes, I enjoyed a lot.   In Math's class we got our own Workbooks. We learned Common factors, Common multiples, Multiplying and dividing fractions, Fraction Benchmark, and Associative & Distributive properties. Every week we get homework. In Science we learned lab safety, science vocab (e.g. Observation, Inference, Hypothesis, Prediction etc...), Scientific Measurement, Measurement tools, and Physical Science (States of Matter). In English Grammar we learned preposition phares, nouns, verbs, adverbs, interjection, article, adjective, pronoun, subject, helping verb, action verb, and linking verb. In Social Studies, I did research about Argentina like what kind of government it has, what kind of landscape it has, how much is population and what is main occupation and natural resources.
